Prayer Request

Hi, this prayer request is an emergency. A few days ago my parents were arguing with my brother, because they found drugs in his back pack and wanted him out of the house (he is in his mid 20s). He got very upset because he doesnt have anywhere to go. He is also on anti-depressants and has anxiety attacks, suicidal, and doesnt have that many friends either. My dad and other family members were fighting and yelling with my brother, so when this happened he told my dad if you let me go this is the end Im going to kill myself. So my dad said I dont care go kill yourself but get out of my house. So 2 minutes later he went to grab for the knives in the kitchen and my whole family tackled him down, knives were flying everywhere because once we got one knife out of his hand he pushed us away and grabbed for another. He finally cut his neck but since we were grabbing for the knife he didnt get deep enough, I finally called the police while they were tackling him but I was scared to leave because I was the one covering his neck. The police came and put him in cuffs and took him to the hospital. He is now there against his own will because the doctors suspect he still wants to kill himself. He refuses to speak to any of us or let any visitors come in. This has been the hardest thing for my family to go through. My dad, what he did was wrong but its very hard to tell him and he still wants my brother out of the house when he gets out of the hospital and wants to change all the locks on the doors. I dont think this is the best way to go and I feel bad for my brother when he comes back I dont know whats going to happen he may want to kill himself even more when he comes back. Please this is very important my brother is determined to kill himself.. And my parents need to change the way they confront him and deal with him because they definitely dont know how to. Please pray that my parents are more loving toward him and that they see their own faults and please pray that God saves my brother he needs a lot of help and prayer. Please. Prayer Request: Jordan Our 13 year old son, Jordan, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (testing positive for pancreas antibodies - doctors say it is incurable and unstoppable) on September 5, 2008. He was also diagnosed as having hypothyroidism. As 6-year missionaries to Kenya, we praise God that we were in the States when this diagnosis came. We are requesting prayers for a miracle healing of Jordan  complete and total. To the glory of God. Also, for a 13 year old friend, diagnosed the same this year, named Drew who also lived overseas for awhile. They were both diagnosed within a few months of returning to the States. Thank you. Jo and I need the Lords wisdom, grace, strength, understanding to resolve our problems, guidance to get the help we need, to soften her heart, change me to be more considerate and less selfish. Thank you for praying and God Bless, Ron

I would appreciate prayer for myself (Christy) and my husband (Jeff). He has had issues with porn/strip clubs before and has been trying to stay away from it. It's been 4 years since he has been in a strip club and just a few months since he watched porn. He just told me tonight that the urge is so strong to go to a strip club and although I am glad he feels he can talk to me honestly, I really don't know how to help him. We have just recently started going to a church and really don't know anyone well enough to ask them for help. We did recently buy the book, Every man's battle, maybe that will help. I just thought I would ask for prayer. Thanks!
